Nail Tech
Dahlia Wax Collective is looking to add a nail tech to our team, with an emphasis on pedicure services. We’re an inclusive, body-neutral salon built on skill, trust, and a genuinely solid team dynamic.
This role includes both pedicures and manicures, with pedicures being the primary focus. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about comfort, consent, and thoughtful service, especially for clients who haven’t always felt safe or accommodated in traditional salons.
About the Role
W-2 employee position
Starting at 1 to 2 days per week, with the opportunity for more shifts as demand grows
Provide professional pedicure and manicure services with a strong focus on client comfort and safety
Work with a wide range of clients in a calm, respectful environment
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality pedicure services with a strong focus on client comfort, safety, and thoughtful care
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized workstation in alignment with Oregon health standards
Communicate clearly with clients about their needs, service expectations, and ongoing foot care
Contribute to a calm, respectful, and inclusive salon environment
Work collaboratively within a shared space while maintaining autonomy over your services and schedule
Our Team Dynamic (This Is Super Duper Important to Us)
We actually like each other here. No joke. Like, really really like each other and love coming to work every day.
That doesn’t mean forced closeness or mandatory hanging out. It means:
A team that supports each other during hard days
Easy conversation between appointments
Checking in on each other and showing up when someone needs help
Laughing together while still doing excellent work
Being each other’s biggest cheerleaders
No one is expected to socialize outside of work, but this is a space where people often want to. We’re looking for someone who appreciates being part of a connected, kind team rather than just clocking in and clocking out.
Communication & Culture
We are a no-drama, no-gossip, no-hostility workplace.
We communicate openly and directly, even when conversations are uncomfortable.
That means:
Addressing issues instead of letting them simmer
Receiving feedback without defensiveness
Treating coworkers and clients with respect at all times
There is zero tolerance for discrimination, bullying, passive-aggressive behavior, or hateful language of any kind.
What We’re Looking For
Active Oregon nail license
Experience with pedicures and manicures, or a strong interest in focusing on pedicure services
Strong communication skills and emotional maturity
Comfort working with all bodies and identities
Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
Why Dahlia Wax Collective?
We are a truly inclusive, accessible, body-neutral salon
Hands-on training and mentorship
A team that values both professionalism and genuine connection
A work environment that feels supportive, not competitive
Really really rad clients. They’re literally the best
If this sounds like how you want to work, we’d love to hear from you.
